This month we were excited to have the World Gold Award delivered to our office from the New York Festivals Film and Television Awards. "Reservoir Hill" was awarded the 2011 top prize in the Online Entertainment category. Another great tribute to the brilliant Wellington cast and crew!
Our docudrama "The Banker The Escorts And The $18 Million" was broadcast on TV3's Inside New Zealand series on Wednesday the 29th. We are getting great feedback from those who saw it. For those who didn't, you can still watch it online here. - March 2011
An unprecedented 2nd Emmy nomination for KHF’s flagship drama!! The second series of Reservoir Hill has been nominated for a 2011 International Emmy Award. Again in the Digital category Youth and Children. Winners are announced in Cannes on April 4 and David and Thomas will be attending the ceremony as well as the MIPTV market. - April 2011
As if the second Emmy nomination wasn’t enough, we’re pleased to announce that Reservoir Hill is also a finalist in the Online Entertainment category of the New York Festivals awards. The awards are held in Vegas on April 12 in conjunction with NAB. - February 2011
KHF begins production on its first docudrama “Mr Invincible”. Commissioned by TV3 and funded by NZ on Air, this groundbreaking production will air this year and explores the dark world of New Zealand’s most notorious modern-day fraudster. - September 2010
Reservoir Hill wins 2 more awards
The goods news keeps coming for us with Reservoir Hill winning the Qantas Film and TV Award for "best children's/youth programme". Thomas was lucky enough to be there - David was unfortunately shooting that day and missed the big moment! A huge thanks to our cast and crew for this - you guys are simply the best. Thomas and David were also nominated for best directors in the drama / comedy category. We also, along with Run The Red, picked up the "mobile application award" at the recent TUANZ Awards. - May 2010
Reservoir Hill wins New Zealand's
first International Emmy!
David, Thomas and Carly were thrilled to be in Cannes when Reservoir Hill made history by winning the International Emmy for the "Digital Program: Children & Young People" category. It was an excellent night with celebrations going on into the small hours of the morning. We are all so pleased for the cast and crew who all worked tirelessly to help create the show.
